Brief data related to the UFO history in P.R.

Sightings of unidentified flying objects are reported frequently in P.R. Not all are documented and informed to the people. They usually occur at night, but there are some that have been reported during the day. After the Freedom of Information Act, which allows the declassification of documents, it was found that in Puerto Rico there was a sighting recorded in May 1952. From then on they have reported sightings of UFOs throughout the island in different decades, in some have occurred more frequently.

There are reported sightings and others that not in the course of time. Not all have been evidenced by infallible evidence or at least evidence of photos and videos. Among the towns with the highest number of sightings are Lajas, Arecibo, Luquillo and some small towns in the center of the island in the mountainous area.

 

Some UFO sightings reported with photos and videos

In 1991, in the town of Adjuntas, P.R. a security guard observed the lights of unidentified flying objects in the sky, notified the police to have witnesses, 4 to 5 policemen, and even recorded the incident with his video camera. Currently, the video appears on the youtube channel.

On May 5, 1997, an incident similar to that of Roswell, New Mexico, occurred in the town of Lajas, P.R. An orange ship was seen making maneuvers and then two explosions with fire occurred; the first one lighter and the second one stronger. The next morning they did not let in firemen or police, only a federal helicopter came in, which took several pieces of metal between blankets. According to witnesses, they were part of the crashed UFO.

On December 21, 2002, at 4:15 PM, on the express highway from San Juan to Ponce, Mr. Jorge Ortiz; He was returning to Lajas accompanied by Mr. Jorge García, pilot and aviation instructor (who was driving the vehicle) and his son. Mr. Garcia notices the presence of a “silver ball” flying in the sky to the west and warned others. Mr. Ortiz, who is also a pilot, had a video camera and started filming and took several approach shots. Recognize that it was not a helicopter or any type of plane. The sphere continued its flight in a straight line to the west, towards some mountains (Cerro Maravilla / Cerro Punta) and for the moment it made a sudden jump upwards from a 90-degree angle and it was lost among the clouds.

In El Yunque, Caribbean National Forest, located in Luquillo, P.R. numerous sightings have been observed. There are some photos taken by Mr. Tomas Rivera, from the Rio Mar resort, from where El Yunque can be seen, the antennas of the communications system of the state and federal government and close to the telephone antenna of P.R. there was the object. You could not appreciate its shape exactly. After submitting the photos to several studies it was possible to conclude that it had an oval shape.

There are many witnesses to sightings, but most of them do not have evidence through photos or videos that are confirmed as reliable. Those that are exposed here exist such evidence. You can mention some videos that are shared through youtube. One of these is the one taken by the young Carlos Vega, where a multicolored UFO can be seen over the skies of Lajas, P.R., on May 5, 2014.

There is a great variety of videos that people share on YouTube, but they have not been evaluated to identify if they are reliable; In addition to that there are people who are dedicated to making videos in order to ridicule and whose purpose is to discredit the serious investigations made by other people who only want to clarify with data the sightings.

 

Conclusion

The UFO phenomenon in P.R. It has been one that has taken off particularly since the 90’s when the number of sightings increased. There are many skeptics and even many questions about the reported sighting events and even when there is film evidence. Also, it is true that the existence of extraterrestrial and UFO sightings has not been proven infallible.

However, for people who have witnessed such events, there is no doubt about what they have witnessed through their senses.

Breves datos relacionados al historial OVNI en P.R.

Los avistamientos de objetos voladores no identificados se reportan con frecuencia en P.R. No todos están documentados e informados al pueblo. Por lo general ocurren en la noche, pero hay algunos que han sido reportados durante el día. Después de la Ley para la Libertad de Información, que permite la desclasificación de documentos, se encontró que en Puerto Rico hubo un avistamiento registrado en mayo de 1952. De ahí en adelante han reportado avistamientos de OVNI en toda la isla en diferentes décadas, en algunas han ocurrido con mayor frecuencia.

Existen avistamientos reportados y otros que no en el transcurso del tiempo. No todos han sido evidenciados con pruebas infalibles o al menos evidencia de fotos y vídeos. Entre los pueblos con mayor número de avistamientos se encuentran: Lajas, Arecibo, Luquillo y algunos pueblitos del centro de la isla en el área montañosa.

 

Algunos avistamientos OVNIS reportados con fotos y vídeos

En 1991, en el pueblo de Adjuntas, P.R. un guardia de seguridad observó en el cielo unas luces de unos objetos voladores no identificados, avisó a la policía para tener testigos, de 4 a 5 policías, e inclusive grabó con su cámara de video el incidente. Actualmente aparece el video en el canal de youtube.

El 5 de mayo de 1997, ocurrió un incidente parecido al de Roswell, Nuevo México, en el pueblo de Lajas, P.R. Se vio una nave anaranjada haciendo unas maniobras y luego ocurrieron dos explosiones con fuego; la primera más leve y la segunda más fuerte. A la mañana siguiente no dejaron entrar ni a bomberos ni a policías, solo entró un helicóptero federal, el cual se llevó entre mantas varios trozos de metal. Según testigos  eran partes del OVNI estrellado.

El 21 de diciembre de 2002 a las 4:15 PM, por la carretera expreso de San Juan a Ponce, el Sr. Jorge Ortiz; iba de regreso a Lajas acompañado del Sr. Jorge García, piloto e instructor de aviación (quien conducía el vehículo) y el hijo de este. El Sr. García se percata de la presencia de una “bola plateada” volando en el cielo rumbo al oeste y les avisó a los demás. El Sr. Ortiz, quien también es piloto, tenía una cámara de video y comenzó a filmar e hizo varias tomas de acercamiento. Reconoce que no era un helicóptero ni ningún tipo de avión. La esfera continuó su vuelo en línea recta hacia el oeste, hacia unas montanas (Cerro Maravilla/Cerro Punta) y de momento dio un salto súbito hacia arriba de un ángulo de 90 grados y se perdió entre las nubes.

En el Yunque, Bosque Nacional del Caribe, localizado en Luquillo, P.R. se han observado numerosos avistamientos. Existen unas fotos tomadas por el Sr. Tomas Rivera, desde el resort Rio Mar, desde donde se aprecia El Yunque, las antenas del sistema de comunicaciones del gobierno estatal y federal y cercano a la antena de telefónica de P.R. se encontraba el objeto. No se podía apreciar su forma con exactitud. Después de someter las fotos a varios estudios se pudo concluir que tenia forma oval.

Existen muchos testigos de avistamientos, pero la mayoría no existe evidencia por medio de fotos o videos que sean confirmados como confiables. Los que aquí se exponen existen tales evidencias. Se pueden mencionar algunos videos que se comparten a través de youtube. Uno de estos es el tomado por el joven Carlos Vega, donde se aprecia un OVNI multicolor sobre los cielos de Lajas, P.R., el 5 de mayo de 2014.

 

Existen una gran variedad de videos que la gente comparte por youtube, pero no han sido evaluados para identificar si son confiables; además de que existen personas que se dedican a realizar videos con el fin de ridiculizar y cuyo propósito es desprestigiar las investigaciones serias hechas por otras personas que solo desean esclarecer con datos los avistamientos.

 

Conclusión

El fenómeno OVNI en P.R. ha sido uno que ha tomado auge particularmente desde la década de los 90’s cuando aumentó el número de avistamientos. Existen muchos escépticos e inclusive muchos cuestionamientos sobre los eventos de avistamientos reportados y hasta en los que existe evidencia fílmica. También, es cierto que no se ha podido comprobar de forma infalible la existencia de extraterrestres y avistamientos OVNI.

No obstante, para las personas que han presenciado dichos eventos, no existe  duda alguna ante lo que han podido presenciar a través de sus sentidos.
